Philipp Seiser

Philipp Seiser (born October 10, 1961 in Starnberg ) is a German actor and musician .

Life

Philipp Seiser played his first roles in theater performances as a teenager in 1975. In the same year he was hired for the role of Karli Schöninger in the television series Police Inspection 1 , which made him famous throughout Germany. In 1978 Seiser began studying acting at the Gmelin Drama Studio in Munich. He later appeared in various films and television series, mostly in supporting roles. He played guest roles a. a. in the series Tatort and SOKO 5113 .

In addition, he had appearances at the theater and on the music and cabaret stage. In the 1980s he accompanied Konstantin Wecker , whom he met in 1979, on a tour, first as a roadie , then as a musician . He then founded his own band, which he later broke up. In the 1990s, Seiser performed several programs as a cabaret artist, some with musical support, for which he was awarded two prizes.

Philipp Seiser is proficient in singing with a tenor pitch , as well as guitar . He also plays the xylophone , electric guitar and drums . He lives in Cologne today .

Philipp Seiser has two older sisters, the younger of the two is the actress, painter and sculptor Carline Seiser .
