Philippe Nantermod (born March 27, 1984 in Troistorrents ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP. Liberals ), member of the National Council and Vice President of the FDP. Liberals Switzerland.

Life

Nantermod attended the Collège de l'Abbaye in Saint-Maurice VS , where he 2003 Matur gained. After studying law at the University of Lausanne and a lawyer internship he was in 2012 the bar exam .

politics

Nantermod got into politics early. From 2007 to 2012 he was Vice President, from 2012 to April 2013 Co-President of Jungfreisinnigen Schweiz . On March 3, 2013, he made the leap to the Grand Council of the Canton of Valais , on October 18, 2015 he was elected to the National Council.

In the 50th legislature, Nantermod is a member of the Legislative Commission for Social Security and Health of the National Council (SGK-N) as well as the Business Audit Commission.

He was the only politician in French- speaking Switzerland who was publicly committed to the adoption of the No Billag initiative .
