Pia Gjellerup (born August 22, 1959 in Frederiksberg ) is a Danish lawyer and social democratic politician .

Life

She was a member of the Danish Parliament from September 8, 1987, as well as the Danish Minister of Justice from January 25 to March 29, 1993, Minister of Economic Affairs from March 23, 1998 to December 21, 2000 and then Minister of Finance until November 27, 2001. She resigned her mandate in January 2007 and has since headed the political department of the Union of Lawyers and Economists DJØF (Dansk Jurist- og Økonomforbund).
