Viggo Kampmann

Olfert Viggo Fischer Kampmann (born July 21, 1910 in Frederiksberg , † June 3, 1976 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish social democratic politician and Prime Minister.

He studied political science and was briefly Danish finance minister in September 1950 , where he was followed by Thorkil Kristensen after the change of government to the liberal Venstre party .

From 1953 to 1960 Kampmann was again Minister of Finance and from February 21, 1960 to September 3, 1962, Prime Minister of Denmark .

His son Jens Kampmann was also a politician and a minister several times.
