Pierre Lardinois
Pierre Joseph Lardinois (born August 13, 1924 in Noorbeek , today in Margraten ; † July 16, 1987 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch politician of the KVP , later CDA .
life and work
Lardinois was the son of a miller and grain dealer and came from a Catholic family. After studying agriculture at Wageningen University , he became involved in agricultural association work and also represented them in parliament as a member of the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament from 1963 to 1967. He was Dutch Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries from 1967 to 1973 and from 1973 to 1977 as agricultural commissioner in the EC Ortoli Commission . He then was CEO of the Dutch Rabobank until 1986 .
