Porsche Carrera Cup Germany 1997
The 1997 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany was the 8th season of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany . The first championship run took place on May 18, 1997 in Zolder , Belgium . The season finale was held on October 12th at the Hockenheimring .
A total of eight races were held this season in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Wolfgang Land won the driver's title with 105 points. This enabled him to secure his second championship title after 1993. The Farnbacher Motorsport racing team won the team championship introduced for the first time this season.
