The 2001 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany was the 12th season of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany . The first brand championship run at the Hockenheimring took place on April 22, 2001. The season finale on October 7th also took place there.

A total of nine races were held in Germany and the Netherlands this season. The races took place as part of the DTM supporting program .

Timo Bernhard won the driver's title with 135 points. The team ranking was won by the HP-PZ Koblenz team .
