The candidates for the priesthood of the Neocatechumenal Way, on the other hand, study philosophy and theology in the Redemptoris Mater seminary in Berlin-Biesdorf .

After completing their theology studies, all candidates prepare for the diaconate and priestly ordination and work in pastoral care together in the three-year pastoral course in the seminary of St. Peter .

Since 2006 the seminar has been housed in the Dominican monastery of St. Paul in the Berlin district of Moabit. Four new priests emerged from the seminar in June 2014 and three new priests in June 2019. In addition, the seminary is also used for the training of the younger priests of the archdiocese.
