The 2015/16 season of the Pro12 (also known as the Guinness Pro 12 for sponsorship reasons ) began on September 4th, 2015. The regular season consisted of 22 match days (one first and one second round) and lasted until May 28, 2016. The best four teams played in two semi-finals for participation in the finals. Four teams each from Ireland and Wales and two teams each from Italy and Scotland took part . The defending champion was the Scottish team Glasgow Warriors .
