Răzvan Marian Stanca (born January 18, 1980 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player . The goalkeeper has been under contract with Pandurii Târgu Jiu since summer 2013 .

Career

Stanca's career began in 1998 when he made it onto the squad for Sportul Studențesc's first team , which played in Divizia B , the second Romanian football league. He was the number one in goal, as the club with the rise in 2001 in the Divizia A returned. There he was only used in half of the games. After relegation in 2002 , he and his team rose again to Divizia B at the end of the 2002/03 season . The ascent followed a year later . In the 2004/05 season he could not assert himself against his long-term competitor Eduard Stăncioiu and only came on four missions. In the summer of 2005 he finally left Sportul and joined league rivals Farul Constanța .

With Farul, Stanca was in the shadow of George Curcă and could not assert himself. In the winter break of 2006/07 he was loaned for half a year to his former club Sportul Studen halesc, who played again in League II. After his return in the summer of 2007, a loan deal with first division promoted Dacia Mioveni followed . There Stanca was a regular between the posts, but rose again with his team at the end of the season .

In the summer of 2008 Stanca left Farul and moved to league rivals Pandurii Târgu Jiu . There he was first goalkeeper before he was ousted by his rival Mingote in the second half of the 2009/10 season . In the summer of 2010 he switched to Steaua Bucharest on loan before being loaned to FC Universitatea Craiova two months later . In the winter break of 2010/11 he was loaned out again to Steaua Bucharest for 18 months, where he initially did not get a chance as a representative of Ciprian Tătărușanu . In September 2011 he was able to displace the competitor who had been promoted to national team, but had to stand behind after six games. In 2013 he won the Romanian championship with Steaua as a substitute. He then returned to Pandurii Târgu Jiu. There he fights first with Michal Gliwa and later with Pedro Mingote for the space between the posts. In early 2016 he became number one in goal. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season , his competitor David Lazăr was initially ahead, but Stanca ousted him over the course of the season. From December 2016 he was also the team captain before he had to go back to the bench.
