Ciprian Anton Tătăruşanu (born February 9, 1986 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player. The goalkeeper has been playing for the French first division club Olympique Lyon since summer 2019 .

Career

Tătăruşanu began his career at Juventus Colentina Bucharest , where he was brought to the first team in 2003. After relatively good games, he was signed in 2007 by the first division club Gloria Bistrița . He made his debut for Gloria on August 18, 2007 against FC Vaslui , the game was lost 2-0. Furthermore, he was able to play internationally in the first season: The club played in the 1st round of the UI Cup 2007/08 against the representative from Montenegro FK Grbalj Radanovići ; Tătăruşanu was used in both games.

In the following season, the young goalkeeper was signed by Steaua Bucharest , but immediately loaned to his original club Gloria Bistrița . In the second season, the 13th place was reached.

In the 2009/10 season he was finally included in the Steaua squad and was initially even a regular goalkeeper, which brought Tătăruşanu a call-up to the national team, but he was not used against Hungary . From the beginning of the 2010/11 season he was "number one" in the goal of Steaua. With the cup victory in 2011 he won his first title. In the 2012/13 season was followed by his first championship. He was able to repeat this success in the following season .

For the 2014/15 season Tătăruşanu moved to Fiorentina . He made his debut for the Italians on September 18, 2014 in the Europa League game against EA Guingamp . In the league, he was initially unable to prevail against regular goalkeeper Norberto Murara Neto and only made nine league games in the 2014/15 season. With the departure of Neto for the 2015/16 season , Tătăruşanu became the goalkeeper of the Florence team and was used as a goalkeeper in 37 of the 38 season games.

For the 2017/18 season , Tătărușanu moved to Ligue 1 for FC Nantes .

National team

For the first time Tătăruşanu was appointed in August 2009 in the game against the Hungarian selection in the national team of Romania . In this game, however, he was not used.

On November 17, 2010 Tătăruşanu came to his first international match when he was substituted on in the friendly against Italy at halftime for Costel Pantilimon . First, Tătăruşanu fought with Pantilimon for number one in the Romanian goal. Since 2012 he has been playing more regularly.

Ciprian Tătăruşanu was a regular goalkeeper in the Romanian squad at the finals of the 2016 European Championships in France . He was in goal in all three group games and conceded four goals. The team was eliminated with one tie and two losses.
