Fernando Marçal De Oliveira or Fernando Marçal for short or Marçal (born February 19, 1989 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Marçal passed through the youth department of Grêmio Porto Alegre and then started his professional career at Guaratinguetá Futebol in 2009 . After a year he continued his career abroad with his move to Portugal to SC União Torreense . Here he signed another Portuguese club, Nacional Funchal, in the summer of 2011 .

For the 2015/16 season he first moved to Benfica Lisbon and was loaned to the Southeast Anatolian representative Gaziantepspor for a season in the Turkish Süper Lig at the end of August 2015 . This was followed by another one-year loan to EA Guingamp . In July 2017, Marçal moved to Olympique Lyon for four and a half million euros .
