Rašov ( German Rascha ) is a district of Klíny in the Czech Republic.
geography
Rašov is located six kilometers northwest of Horní Litvínov on the Ore Mountains ridge . To the north rises the Černý vrch (889 m), in the northeast of the Studenec (878 m), the Loučná (956 m) and the Střelná (868 m), to the southeast of the Holubí vrch (716 m), in the southwest of the Hřeben (687 m) ) and the Jeřabina (788 m) and west of the Větrný vrch (800 m) and the Mračný vrch (852 m). To the east lies the deep valley Šumný důl ( Rauschengrund ) formed by the Bílý potok . The Janov dam is to the south .
Neighboring towns are Český Jiřetín and Fláje in the north, Jiřík in the northeast, Dlouhá Louka in the east, Sedlo in the southeast, Lounice and Křižatky in the south, Mikulovice in the southwest, Mníšek in the west and Klíny in the northwest.
history
Rascha originated as a settlement for miners and was first mentioned in 1583 as part of the Dux rule . In 1642 the Counts of Waldstein inherited the rule. In 1680 Johann Friedrich von Waldstein raised the lordships of Dux and Oberleutensdorf to a family affide . After the decline of mining, the inhabitants lived on agriculture and forestry. Some were day laborers . From the 19th century, many worked in the textile factories in Oberleutensdorf and the brown coal pits of the Brüx district.
In 1831 Rascha consisted of 18 houses with 120 German-speaking residents. Parish was Ober-Leitensdorf . Until the middle of the 19th century, Rascha remained subject to the entails rule Dux.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Rascha even Raschau called 1850 a district of the market town, 1852 City Oberleutensdorf in Leitmeritzer county and judicial district Brüx. From 1868 the village belonged to the Brüx district . In 1876 Rascha broke away from Oberleutensdorf and became the district of Göhren . From 1905 the village belonged to the newly formed judicial district Oberleutensdorf. The Czech place name Rašov was introduced in 1924. As a result of the Munich Agreement , the village was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the district of Brüx until 1945 . After the end of World War II, Rašov came back to Czechoslovakia and the German-Bohemian population was expelled . In 1948 the village was assigned to the Okres Litvínov, since its abolition in 1961 Rašov has again belonged to the Okres Most .
