Radek Juška (born March 8, 1993 in Starovičky ) is a Czech long jumper .
Athletic career
Radek Juška gained his first international experience at the Junior World Championships 2012 in Barcelona , where he was eliminated in qualification with 7.11 m. In 2015 he won the silver medal behind the Swede Michel Tornéus at the European Indoor Championships in Prague with 8.10 m . He then won the silver medal at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn with 8.00 m. He also qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , where he finished eleventh with 7.57 m in the final . The following year he finished tenth at the World Indoor Championships in Portland with a width of 7.88 m and was fourth at the European Championships in Amsterdam with 7.93 m. He also took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and was eliminated there with 7.84 m in qualification .
In 2017 he again took part in the World Championships in London and finished tenth in the final with 8.02 m . Two weeks later he won the Summer Universiade in Taipei with 8.02 m . At the 2018 World Indoor Championships in Birmingham he finished seventh with 7.99 m and twelfth at the European Championships in Berlin with 7.73 m. The following year he reached seventh place at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow with a width of 7.79 m.
In 2014 and 2017, as well as in 2019 and 2020 , Juška was the Czech champion in the long jump outdoors and from 2014 to 2016 and from 2018 to 2020 also in the hall.
