Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut

Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut was created in 2008 through the merger of Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut Nord , based in Gmunden, and Raiffeisenbank Traunsee West , based in Altmünster. Both institutes emerged from previous mergers. In October 2018, the new bank headquarters was opened with the " Haus salzkammergut " (lowercase in lower case ) on Klosterplatz in Gmunden. The building consists of the listed former forestry office and a modern extension.

Former individual institutes

Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut Nord

The first cooperative agreement is from December 18, 1910 ( Raiffeisenkasse Laakirchen ). In 1980 there was a merger with the Raiffeisenkasse Lindach . Four banks were added in 1992: Raiffeisenbank Gmunden-Gschwandt , Raiffeisenbank Vorchdorf , Raiffeisenkasse Roitham and Raiffeisenkasse Kirchham . From 1992 to 2008, the company name was Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut Nord reg.Gen.mbH.

Raiffeisenbank Traunsee-West

The first cooperative agreement was signed on December 12th, 1899 ( Raiffeisenkasse Altmünster ). In 1992 the merger with the Raiffeisenkasse Pinsdorf and the Raiffeisenkasse Traunkirchen took place . In 2008 the merger with Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut Nord was decided. At the time, Raiffeisenbank Traunsee-West reg.Gen.mbH had its branches in Altmünster, Neukirchen bei Altmünster, Pinsdorf, Traunkirchen-Ort, Traunkirchen-Winkl and Ebensee.

The bank headquarters in Gmunden - Haus Salzkammergut

The "Haus salzkammergut" (original spelling small) is located in Gmunden on the monastery square next to the Capuchin Church . The building consists of the former forestry office and a modern extension. The forest office is protected under the title: " Official building of the former KK Forest and Domain Directorate Gmunden ". The building was built in 1839 as a saltworks and forest management department, from 1850 it was the kk saltworks and domains department. From 1926 to 2010 it was the seat of a forestry directorate of the ÖBf. The Raiffeisenbank bought the property in 2013. The building was then renovated and an annex was added. The new bank headquarters opened in October 2018. The building houses the administrative center and a branch of the Raiffeisenbank, a Raiffeisen real estate office, an Upper Austrian insurance branch, an area for coworking space with regard to office infrastructure (“co-werk”) and a Restaurant ("das forst").

Raiffeisen Cooperative

Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut is organized as a cooperative bank , as are around 450 other primary banks of Raiffeisen Austria . As a cooperative bank, it belongs to the co-owners who have subscribed to the shares. The more than 70 Upper Austrian Raiffeisen banks are joint owners of Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich , the 8 Landesbanken in turn are majority owners of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich and, since 2017, Raiffeisen Bank International . The legal bases are the Austrian Banking Act (BWG), the Cooperative Law, the Cooperative Revision Law and the statutes (adopted by the General Assembly).

The organs of Raiffeisenbank Salzkammergut are the board of directors , the supervisory board and the general assembly of the cooperative.
