history

Raiffeisenbank Region Kirchdorf

Raiffeisenbank Region Kirchdorf eGen was entered in the commercial register in September 2016 . The institute was created through the merger of seven Raiffeisen banks. Of the Raiffeisen cooperatives involved, Raiffeisenbank Micheldorf, founded in 1909, was the largest single institution to date with 5 branches and was therefore the "taking over" cooperative. The other 6 acceding (“transferring”) cooperatives had 8 bank branches. The company headquarters was then located in Kirchdorf an der Krems on the main square until October 2019.

The construction work for the new headquarters began in April 2018 with the demolition of the former headquarters of the Kirchdorf district administration. In mid-2018, Leonstein switched to a self-service bank. The Raiffeisenbank moved from Kirchdorfer Hauptplatz to Garnisonstraße and the new building known as the "Forum Region Kirchdorf" opened in October 2019. Molln and Pettenbach also commemorated the 130th anniversary of Raiffeisen in 2019 (since 1889) and Micheldorf the 110th anniversary of the foundation . In March 2020, the conversion of the Steyrling and Steinbach am Ziehberg branches to self-service bank branches began. The Ried im Traunkreis branch moved from the previous bank building to the local shopping center in April 2020.
