Inzersdorf im Kremstal is a municipality in Upper Austria in the Kirchdorf an der Krems district in the Traunviertel with 1895 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).
The responsible judicial district is Kirchdorf an der Krems.
geography
Inzersdorf in the Kremstal lies at 434 m above sea level. A. in the Traunviertel . The extension is 5 km from north to south and 7.6 km from west to east. The total area is 22.83 km². 30% of the area is forested and 59% of the area is used for agriculture.

history
Originally located in the eastern part of the Duchy of Bavaria , the place belonged to the Duchy of Austria since the 12th century . Since 1490 it has been assigned to the Principality of Austria ob der Enns .
During the Napoleonic Wars , the place was occupied several times.
Since 1918 the place belonged to the federal state of Upper Austria. After the annexation of Austria to the German Reich on March 13, 1938, the place belonged to the Gau Oberdonau . In 1945 Upper Austria was restored.

Population development
In 1991 the municipality had 1,783 inhabitants according to the census, in 2001 it had 1,830. By 2018, the population rose to 1,880 people due to a very positive birth balance, which was able to offset the negative balance of migration .

Sports
The Inzersdorf Sports Union was founded in 1963. It currently consists of the sections fistball , tennis , stick shooting , beach volleyball , skiing , bowling and gymnastics .
The fistball men celebrated their greatest success so far in 2010 when they won the Cup against Union Freistadt . After a few years in the 1st regional league, the 1st men's team currently plays in the 2nd regional southern league. As part of the indoor championships, the Inzersdorfer were able to participate in the 2nd Bundesliga from 2009, from which the team was only relegated in 2015. Until recently there was also a women's team, which celebrated the cup victory in 1994 and was temporarily dissolved at the end of 2014. The annual Helmut Berger memorial tournament organized by the Union takes place in Inzersdorf in August.
The men's tennis team has also been participating in the championship since 2004. After the first ascent in 2010, however, the descent followed only a year later. In the 2016 season, with seven wins from eight games and the final 2nd place, he was once again promoted to the 2nd district class. In addition, there are currently three youth teams which were able to celebrate two championship and one runner-up title in 2016, as well as a senior team for the first time from the 2017 season.
The Union Inzersdorf sports facility was built in 1990 and officially opened in 1993. It has three fistball fields, three sand tennis courts as well as a beach volleyball court and a covered and heated floor hall, which is also used for larger events.
