Rainer Wilhelm Maria Schepper (born March 23, 1927 in Münster , pseudonym Jans Gliewenkieker ) is a German teacher , author , publicist and reciter of Standard and Low German.

Life

After graduating from high school in Burgsteinfurt in 1947 , he studied German , folklore , sociology and education in Hamburg, Dortmund and Münster from 1949 to 1951 and 1960 to 1969 . In 1951/52 he was editor of the daily newspaper Die Glocke in Oelde . 1952 to 1954 he studied at the Pedagogical Academy in Dortmund. From 1954 to 1978 he worked as a teacher in Ostbevern- Schirl, Seppenrade-Emkum, Lüdinghausen and Münster and since 1978 as a freelance writer, publicist and reciter in Münster. He is the author of radio plays, commentaries and poetry recitations for various radio stations. Since 1997 he has been editor of the show Because it is written on the open channel TV Münster.

Rainer Schepper was personally close to the Westphalian dialect poet Augustin Wibbelt . He owns a large part of his estate and has published works by the poet in critical editions.
