Raubersried is a district of the market Wendelstein in the Central Franconian district of Roth in Bavaria .

Details

The village is about 13 kilometers southeast of Nuremberg and 1 kilometer south of Wendelstein, with which it is connected by two municipal roads.

Rauber Ried was a clearing settlement , was named in the 14th century Redwinsreuth and in the 18th century robber Rieth . Raubersried was an independent municipality until the regional reform in Bavaria . In 1971 it was incorporated into Wendelstein together with its districts of Dürrenhembach and Sperberslohe .

The place is still dominated by agriculture. Regional foods are sometimes offered for sale. There is an inn with a beer garden.
