Reissing is part of the Oberschneiding community in the Straubing-Bogen district in Lower Bavaria . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

Geography and transport links

The parish village of Reissing is located south of the core town of Oberschneiding on SR 14 . The federal road 20 and the SR 7 run east. The Reissinger Bach flows through the village .

history

When the regional court Leonsberg was split up in 1803, Reißing came to the regional court in Straubing . With the formation of the tax districts in 1808, the tax district of Reissing emerged, from which the rural community of Reissing emerged in 1811 .

1952 belonged to the community of Reissing the districts Reissing, Eglsee, Kalte Gassen, Lichting, Noisling, Rainting and Schnatting. In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , the community of Reissing was dissolved in 1978 and incorporated into the community of Oberschneiding. From a church perspective, there is a parish community in Oberschneiding-Reissing.
