René Zechlin (* 1974 in Würzburg ) is a German art historian , curator , author and publisher as well as director of the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen am Rhein .

Life

After graduating from high school, René Zechlin studied art history, business administration and philosophy at the University of Stuttgart . After working as a curator at the Frankfurter Kunstverein , he took over responsibility for the exhibition program at the Lewis Glucksman Gallery at University College Cork , Ireland, from 2004 .

From 2008 to 2014 René Zechlin was director of the Kunstverein Hannover . During this time, from 2011, he was also chairman of the German Art Association.

René Zechlin has been director of the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen am Rhein since 2014 .
