action

The young Nina, who came to Paris from the countryside , tries herself as an actress and never misses an opportunity to have an affair. While looking for an apartment, she meets the shy Paulot. A friendship develops between the two. Paulot wants more, but instead Nina embarks on a passionate affair with Paulot's roommate Quentin, a self-loving eccentric who appears as an actor in sex shows.

When Quentin has a fatal accident under mysterious circumstances, Nina wants to learn more about the man she is still under. She meets the director Scrutzler, whose daughter was also killed under mysterious circumstances when she was playing Romeo with Quentin.

Nina is supposed to take on the role of Julia in a new production by Scrutzler. In dealing with the role she finds new support, but neglects the friendship with Paulot, who finally turns away from her.

criticism
