The Rhön-Sinntal-Radweg (also: Rhön-Sinntal-Streutal-Radweg ) is a cycle path that runs between Gemünden am Main ( Main-Spessart district ) and Mellrichstadt ( Rhön-Grabfeld district ). Its total length is about 118 kilometers.

Starting in Gemünden am Main, the cycle path initially runs through the scenic valley of the Sinn up to Wildflecken. There you leave the valley and cross the southern foothills of the Rhön biosphere reserve . In the Streutal , the tour later runs down to Mellrichstadt, where the bike path ends.

Route and accommodations

The route runs primarily on paved paths and side roads and, due to the predominant course through river valleys and the relatively flat grave field, mostly only has moderate inclines. There are steeper climbs from Bad Brückenau to Wildflecken and from Unterweissenbrunn to Weisbach.

The Rhön and Sinntal regions are very well developed for tourism. Popular holiday destinations in the Rhön such as Bad Brückenau, Bischofsheim, Fladungen, Ostheim and Mellrichstadt are approached along the route, where there are numerous restaurants, pensions, holiday apartments and also bicycle-friendly accommodations and hotels.
