Ricarda boy
Ricarda Junge (* 1979 in Wiesbaden ) is a German writer .
Life
Ricarda Junge was born in Wiesbaden in 1979. After a long stay in the USA , she first studied law and then at the
German Literature Institute in Leipzig . After graduating, she studied Protestant theology in Frankfurt am Main . For her debut Silberfaden she was awarded the Grimmelshausen Prize in 2003. In 2005, her novel No Foreign Land was published . This was followed by the novels Eine Schöne Geschichte (2008) and Die Komische Frau (2010). Her latest novel, The Last Warm Days , was published in August 2014 . For her work she received u. a. the work grant of the German Literature Fund e. V. and was a scholarship holder of the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin and in the artist village Schöppingen . In addition to her literary work, Ricarda Junge wrote columns a. a. for the Frankfurter Rundschau and Hörzu and gives writing seminars a. a. for the START program of the Hertie Foundation and the literature forum in the Mousonturm (Frankfurt a. M.).
Ricarda Junge lives with her family in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main.
