Robin Mathews

Robin Mathews is an American makeup artist who has worked in around 60 film and television productions since her career began in the early 2000s. At the 2014 Academy Awards , she and Adruitha Lee won an Oscar for her work at Dallas Buyers Club in the Best Make-up and Best Hairstyles category. In particular, her work included portraying the physical decline of the protagonists as a result of their AIDS disease and all this on a budget of only $ 250. Mathews was born in New Orleans as the daughter of soprano Vicki Fisk . In addition to her work as a make-up artist, she took on acting parts for Van Hook in 2001 and Into the Wild in 2007 .
