Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley (born April 18, 1987 in Plymouth , England ) is a British model and actress .

Life

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the daughter of a fitness trainer and a surveyor. She has a younger brother and sister. Her great-great-grandfather was the politician and MP Sir Herbert Huntington-Whiteley, 1st Baronet . Because of her full lips, for which she is famous today, and her double surname, she was often teased in her childhood, but was also chosen by her classmates at the age of 13 as the person most likely to become a supermodel .

From August 2007 to October 2009 she was in a relationship with Tyron Wood, the youngest son of the "Rolling Stones" guitarist Ron Wood . She then had a relationship with the French actor Olivier Martinez . Since April 2010 she has been in a relationship with British actor Jason Statham . The couple got engaged in 2016. In February 2017, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley announced her pregnancy. On June 24th of the same year, their son Jack Oscar Statham was born.

Career

She was discovered by a model scout in 2003 and then stood in front of the camera for the first time at the age of 16. In 2004 she made her catwalk debut in New York City and also became an advertising face for Tommy Hilfiger . She has been modeling for the US underwear label Victoria's Secret since 2006 .

In 2008, Christopher Bailey hired her instead of Agyness Deyn for Burberry's fall-winter campaign , which made her the cover of British fashion magazine Vogue . The following year she was the face of the Karen Millen's spring-summer campaign and the Godiva and Miss Sixty fall-winter campaigns .
