Rude Tin's brass section

Rude Tins is a Swiss ska-punk band from Brugg, founded in 2003, with ska , punk , rock and reggae influences . The name "Rude Tins" is a combination of the word "Rude", which is often used in Ska music, and the "Tins", which in the figurative sense stands for the wind section.

history

In 2003 the band formed and gained their first stage experience. In 2006 the debut album Varicolored was released with a guest appearance by the Swiss reggae artist Elijah. The second LP Beat the Band will be released in 2009 on 808 Records / Leech Records . The band goes on tour and plays concerts in Switzerland , Austria , Germany and Belgium . Beat the Band is also released in Japan .

In 2011, Rude Tins worked on their new project State of Flux with the support of the Swiss musician, songwriter and composer Adrian Weyermann . The Aargauer Kuratorium supports the band with a production contribution. 2012 is recorded in the Neuwerk Studio in Lahr, Germany. The production is mixed at Powerplay Studios in Maur, Switzerland and mastered by Grammy Awards winner Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound Studio in New York , USA.

The single Year of Disaster will appear as a digital release on October 26, 2018, followed by the second release Fire and Forget with a video clip on February 1, 2019 .

In March 2019, Rude Tins are going on a European tour with Mad Caddies , before the EP A Picture of Tomorrow will definitely be released in spring 2019.

Rude Tins shared the stage with bands like No Use for a Name , Reel Big Fish , Ska-P , The Planet Smashers , Dr. Ring-Ding , Talco , Snitch (band) , Open Season (band) , Babylon Circus , Persiana Jones or the New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble .
