Rudolf Rabe

Rudolf Rabe , von Rabe since 1825 , (born February 15, 1805 in Wriezen , † July 7, 1883 in Berlin ) was a Prussian civil servant and minister of state.

Life

Rabe studied law in Heidelberg and had been a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia since 1822 . From 1830 he worked as an assessor at the higher court in Berlin. In 1835 he became a government assessor. To 1843, he served as Councilor in Dusseldorf operates. After that, Rabe moved to the Prussian Ministry of Finance in the rank of secret finance council . In 1847 he became a go. Oberfinanzrat and ministerial director promoted.

Between 1849 and 1851 he was the Prussian finance minister . In the following years, several attempts at further use failed. Among other things, he was traded for the post of President of the Province of Pomerania or as Chief President of the Chamber of Accounts. In 1856 he was promoted to the Real Secret Council, at the same time there was a Rabe pension thing.

Between 1862 and 1868 he was President of the Central Administration of National Debt . Afterwards von Rabe was a member of the central statistical commission in the Prussian interior ministry.

In 1849 von Rabe was a member of the First Chamber of the Prussian Landtag . Since 1860 he was a member of the Prussian manor house .
