Rudolph the Red Nose 2 (Original title: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & the Island of Misfit Toys ) is a computer animation film with musical elements from 2001 by director Bill Kowalchuk . The film adaptation is the follow-up film to the cartoon Rudolph with the red nose from 1998.

action

The toy thief Mr. Heebie Jeebie flies through the world in his zeppelin and collects toys that he attracts with his flute playing. Rudolph and the dentist Hermey are called to see King Moonracer, who resides on the island of the good-for-nothing toys. Meanwhile, Santa's warehouse is also being robbed in Christmas City. On their return trip, Rudolph and Hermey get caught in a storm and get into the clearing bay for toys belonging to Queen Camilla. But when all of the toys are stolen from him, Rudolph and Hermey promise to get everything back and catch the toy thief. If they succeed, Camilla wants to grant both of them a wish. Rudolph wants a nose operation so that he no longer stands out through the glow of his nose and Hermey wants a meeting with the tooth fairy.

Finally, Rudolph and Hermey join forces to catch the toy thief who, under his disguise, turns out to be a small teddy bear on stilts called Mr. Cuddles. Mr. Cuddles is taken to Queen Camilla's Clearing Bay and repairs by her so that he looks like new again and then taken to his previous owner. Hermey gets a meeting with the tooth fairy as promised and Rudolph realizes that his unusual nose belongs to him and renounces the fulfillment of his wish.
