List of rest areas in Tyrol

Quiet areas according to § 11 Tyrolean Nature Conservation Act 2005 (TNSchG 2005) are "areas outside built-up areas that are particularly suitable for recreation in the great outdoors because they are due to the lack of noisy establishments, cable cars for passenger transport and roads characterized by largely quiet with public transport. ”By ordinance of the Tyrolean state government, eight quiet areas were designated.
