The maple trees, which are designated as a natural monument, are located in the Großer Ahornboden nature reserve . The sycamore trees are 300 to 600 years old, with 2409 sycamore maples being counted in 1966. On the old maple trunks there is a rich growth of mosses and lichens. | 1972 | ||

The group of trees consists of three winter linden trees and four summer linden trees , which are located on the square in front of the Franciscan church. Of the seven trees, five very old linden trees reach a height of 25 to 35 meters. With a height of around 53 meters, the Notburga spruce is probably the highest spruce in Tyrol. It is located in a ditch at the last bend of the forest path to the Rottenburg ruins and has a trunk circumference of 4.7 meters or a trunk diameter of 1.5 meters at the base of the trunk. The five large sycamores are located next to the parish church "Zur Krönung Mariae". The southern sycamore maple has a crown height of around 23 meters and a trunk diameter of around one meter. Next to it is a smaller maple with a double trunk. There are also four protected sycamore trees on the road between the parish church and the Pfandlerkapelle. Originally nine trees were protected here, but four had to be felled by a decision from 1977. | 1929 | ||

The poplar tree and the locust tree next to it are on the roundabout opposite the sports facilities and the swimming pool in Zell. The trembling poplar reaches a height of 25 meters and forms an ensemble with the robinia, with a cross between the two trees. The screw case cave is a 105 m long through cave southwest of Hintertux . It is traversed by the Tuxbach , which falls over a waterfall after exiting. The cave was probably only formed by the stream after the end of the Würm glacial period around 10,000 years ago and is therefore geologically very young. Note: no ID in the source |
