List of natural monuments in the Imst district
The list of natural monuments in the Imst district lists all of the objects designated as natural monuments in the Imst district in the state of Tyrol . The 13 natural monuments include, in particular, individual trees, but also an oak forest, a stone pine forest, a lake and an old Roman road. The natural monuments still listed were first placed under protection in 1928, the last in 2007. A large number of natural monuments can be found in the district capital Imst , where six of the 13 natural monuments are located.

The two spruces are located about 200 m north of the Untermarkter Alm, at the Malchbach drag lift, on the edge of the forest west of the lift route between the 2nd and 3rd support. | 1944 | ||

Although the old route of the Roman road (part of the Via Claudia Augusta ) is a cultural and historical monument, it is protected as a natural monument. The remnants of the road that still exist are overgrown with birches and trees. A well-preserved section of the road about fifty meters long was exposed. | 1963 | ||

The bluebell tree ( Paulownia tomentosa ) is in the front yard of the old housekeeping school next to the Luise Wallnöfer house in Imst. The deciduous tree, around ten meters high, has a broad and high-arched, but fairly light crown, which is formed by three strong branches. | 1963 | ||

The pedunculate oak stands next to the Malchbach on Eichenweg between new buildings. It has an approximately 25 m high crown. | 1944 | ||

The field elm stands opposite the parish church and the Widum of Untermieming . A small park with a fountain and its own benches was created around the tree. | 1931 | ||

The Piburger See is located at 913 m above sea level and is the heart of the Achstürz-Piburger See nature reserve. The lake covers 13.4 hectares and is a maximum of 24.6 meters deep. On the northern edge of the lake there is a silting bog with occurrences of fever clover ( Menyanthes trifoliata ) and rosemary heather ( Andromeda polifolia ), and water lilies grow in the bay. | 1928 | ||

The Obergurgl stone pine forest covers around 20 hectares and is located on a hilltop between the Gurgler Ache and the Rotmoostal south of Obergurgl. The tree population was thinned or rejuvenated by a fire in the 19th century and extends up to 2180 m above sea level. In addition to stone pines of various ages, there are also dwarf shrubs such as the rust-brown alpine rose ( Rhododendron ferrugineum ) and a small moor in a hollow. | 1963 | ||

The oak forest, a mixed deciduous forest with abundant occurrence of linden and elm trees, was placed under protection as early as 1929 and is one of the oldest still existing natural monuments in Tyrol. He was placed under protection by a new decision in 2006. The Stams oak forest is the last remnant of the formerly extensive mixed deciduous forests in the Innauen and their side valleys. The forest belonging to the Cistercian monastery of Stams owes its survival to its protective forest function. | 1929 | ||
