List of natural monuments in the Kufstein district
The list of natural monuments in the Kufstein district lists all objects designated as natural monuments in the Kufstein district in the state of Tyrol . The natural monuments include all kinds of monuments such as lakes, moors, parks, a fossil site, a river and, above all, individual trees or groups of trees. With more than 50 natural monuments, the Kufstein district has a very high density of natural monuments compared to other Tyrolean districts. The “Blue Spring” is the oldest existing natural monument in Tyrol in the Kufstein district. It was placed under protection in 1926. The most recent protection was given in 2011.

The Brandenberger Ache arises from the union of the Red and White Valepp in Bavaria and flows south to the Inn. In doing so, it breaks through the ridges of the Brandenberg Alps, which run in an east-west direction, in several deeply carved rock gorges, which alternate with basin-like extensions. The Berglsteinersee is 714 m above sea level. A. in a hollow on the southern slope of the ridge from Voldöppberg to the carpenter. It runs from east to west and has a length of around 220 meters and a maximum width of 100 meters. The landscape garden in the English style from the 19th century emerged from a swampy Innau forest. The 15 hectare park covers areas in the municipalities of Brixlegg and Reith im Alpbachtal, whereby the eastern part of the municipality of Brixlegg was placed under protection in 1961, the western part of the municipality of Reith in 1972. The natural monument consists of a group of trees and several individual trees, whereby the group of trees consists of five sycamore trees that are around 1000 m above sea level. A. grow on the edge of the forest above the Spitzstein car park. Another sycamore tree with a height of 20 meters stands around 200 meters northeast in the forest. The Frauensee is a very shallow pond that has formed from a dead ice hole in a depression below the mountain slope to the Voldöppberg. It is located northeast of Kramsach and is around 260 meters long, 125 meters wide and one to two meters deep. In the first silting stage of a still water body, the lake is surrounded by a wide belt of reeds, which merges into a flat moor complex with alder break in the eastern area. Around the Deadisloch, east of the Krummsee, a kettle bog has been preserved in a deep, triangular depression in the middle of mowing meadows, which is in the silting-up stage of a peat moss swinging lawn. The level of the bog changes by up to one meter over the course of the year due to precipitation and incoming groundwater. While in the center of the bog there is a raised bog with bulbs and gullies of peat moss, the area at the edge is surrounded by large sedge. Fertilization of the surrounding meadows also resulted in increased reed formation. The moors and rare plants such as the growing marsh club moss and wild rosemary . | 1973 | ||

The Egelsee is a moor lake created by an Ice Age glacier on the state border with Germany. It is home to large populations of the yellow pond rose and extensive reed banks. In addition, there are damp silting areas with swinging lawns, numerous mosses, round-leaved sundew, raspberry and cranberries. On the south-east side of the lake there is a wide wet meadow with pipe grass. The natural monument status of the 1936 protected lake was extended to the shore area in 1978. The Lurchweiher is located in the gray alder alluvial forest on the southern bank of the Inn at the level of the Inn power plant Langkampfen . The small, elongated pond has wide reed siltation zones, and the open water surface slowly grows over with reeds and is extensively covered with floating leaf communities. In the silted areas, there is reed and a flatly dammed large sedge ( Carex elata ) with hedgehog cob ( Sparganium ) and swamp rush ( Scirpus lacustris ). The pond is fed by slope water. The pond is the habitat and reproduction area of a number of otherwise rare and protected animal species, including several types of dragonflies and various frogs (especially the common toad ( Bufo bufo ) and the common frog ( Rana temporaria )). | 1986 | ||

The so-called Rohrmoos is located on the Jochberg north of the Rohrmoos farmer's chapel at 830 m above sea level. A. The mountain pine raised bog with a diameter of around 100 meters is surrounded by spruce forest and also has open water areas. In addition to a strong growth of mountain pines, the raised bog has occurrences of peat moss, cranberries, blueberries, heather, cranberries, rosemary heather and rushes. | 1973 | ||
