List of protected parts of the landscape in Tyrol

In Tyrol there are 30 protected parts of the landscape ( GLT ) that are designated on the basis of Tyrolean nature conservation law. These are small-scale protected objects under less strict landscape protection .

Protected part of the landscape according to § 13 Tyrolean Nature Conservation Act 2005 (TNSchG 2005) is a "protected small-scale section of the landscape with a nature conservation goal (protection purpose) specified for this area."

"Parts of the landscape that are neither in a protected area according to §§ 10 [ landscape protection area ], 11 [ quiet area ], 21 [ nature reserve ] or 22 [ special protection area ], nor have the requirements for the declaration of a natural monument (§ 27) that However, they are important for the natural balance , especially for the microclimate or for the fauna and flora , or that contribute to the enlivenment of the landscape . "

In contrast to the other protection categories mentioned , which are determined by the state government, they are declared by district administrative authorities by ordinance . They are therefore not announced in the State Law Gazette for Tyrol (LGBl.), But in the Bote für Tirol .
