Music video

At the end of the music video for “Oh!”, The nine girls from Girls' Generation meet their dark-clad doppelgangers . "Run Devil Run" is now dedicated to these nine counterparts. The first published music video is a dance version. The story version shows that "Black Soshi" was created when Sooyoung, as a cheerleader, knocked over a glass of milk and this caused a computer failure. Then the evil counterparts of the cheerleaders are created and let off steam in the computer room, for example by tearing off posters. When the nine cheerleaders return and notice the chaos, both sides are initially hostile to each other until cheerleader Yuri pulls the plug and the black-clad doppelgangers then dissolve. The video ends with the members cleaning up the room, but a member hits the monitor and it turns on again, leaving a return from "Black Soshi" open.

Chart successes

"Run Devil Run" won first place on the KBS live music program Music Bank for the first time . In addition, "Run Devil Run" immediately reached number 1 on the South Korean Gaon Charts and held this position for two weeks.
