" Into the New World " (" 다시 만난 세계 "; " Dasi Mannan Segye ") is the first single by the South Korean girl band Girls' Generation and was released on August 2, 2007 by SM Entertainment .

The music video for "Into the New World" was released on August 1, 2007. The single was finally released a day later. Girls' Generation made their official debut with this song on August 5th on the SBS music show Inkigayo .
On September 12, 2007, a remix of the song was released.

The song reached number one on some online charts. In addition, “Into the New World” reached number 1 on October 11, 2007 in the music program M! Countdown . The group also received the Cyworld Rookie Award for the song . The single sold over 50,000 times and was ranked 9th on the year-end charts.
