The 1st Asia Tour - Into the New World is the first live album by the South Korean pop group Girls' Generation . The music tracks on the album are recordings from the Into-the-New-World concerts on December 19 and 20, 2009 in Seoul .

The album was initially announced for December 23, 2010; however, the publication was postponed by one week to December 30, 2010.

The album went straight to number 1 on the South Korean music charts in its first week .

Content and title list

The album contains 38 live recordings by Girls' Generation on 2 CDs. In the album there is also a booklet with pictures of the concert performances and the corresponding lyrics. The additional track "Beautiful Girls" is sung by Yu Yeong-jin, who expresses his admiration for the nine band members in the song and was played on a screen with music video during the tour. " Singin 'in the Rain " performed the group together at their concerts; however, the version on the album is not a live version, but a new version recorded in the studio.
