Reviews
James Berardinelli wrote on ReelViews that the film writers want audiences to believe the film is a love story. Run Off does not contain many emotions and appears "apathetic". The audience remains at a distance from the characters, for whom it feels nothing. The film is so "clumsy" and "stupid" that you can hardly believe it.
The lexicon of international films wrote: “A straightforward narrated youth film, realistic in the depiction of the boarding school environment and sensitive in the approach of the young people. The two good leading actors contribute to the adequate entertainment. "
background
The film was in Baltimore and St. John's College in Annapolis ( Maryland turned). It grossed about $ 516,000 in US cinemas.
