The SIAI-Marchetti S.210 was a light, twin-engine travel and business aircraft produced by the Italian aircraft manufacturer SIAI-Marchetti in the 1970s.

History and construction

It was designed for one pilot and up to five passengers and equipped with two Lycoming four-cylinder boxer engines of the type TIO-360-A1B , each with a takeoff power of 200 hp.

The maximum speed was 375 km / h, the normal cruising speed 345 km / h at an altitude of 5,700 meters. The maximum range was 1,900 kilometers, the service ceiling was 8,500 meters. The curb weight was 1,080 kg, the maximum take-off weight 1,850 kg.

The first flight of the prototype took place on February 18, 1970. In 1971 the pre-series production of ten machines followed.

The S.210 is based in many parts and the basic construction of the cell on the single-engine machines from the same company as the SIAI-Marchetti S.205 and the SIAI-Marchetti S.208 . Around 35 machines of this type S.210 were produced.
