The Schöne-Aussicht-Hütte (also Schutzhütte Schöne Aussicht , Italian Rifugio Bella Vista ) is a private alpine refuge in the Ötztal Alps at 2842 m slm (according to other information 2845 m). It is located southwest of the Hochjoch in the Schnalskamm , which is the border between the Austrian North Tyrol and the Italian South Tyrol . The hut is located not far from the border on Italian territory in the immediate vicinity of the ski area served by the Schnalstaler Gletscherbahn .
history
With the support of Franz Senn , Benedikt Klotz from Vent built the first shelter on the Hochjoch in 1869, but it did not exist for long. From 1886 Serafin Gurschler from Kurzras built a path and opened a new hut in 1890, which was already partially managed. In 1896/1897 the hut, which had become too small, was expanded and managed throughout. In 1904 an extension took place. After a period of closure during the First World War, the builder's son, Hermann Gurschler, reopened Schöne Aussicht in 1924 and began to cultivate it in winter from 1932 onwards. In 1933, after a further expansion, the house reached its present size, and from the following year it was managed all year round. The hut remained closed during the Second World War , and in 1953 a material ropeway was installed. The hut has been close to the ski area since the lifts were built in 1975.
The Schöne-Aussicht-Hütte has been owned by Paul Grüner since 1999. An extensive renovation took place in 2006.
A route leads over the Hochjoch, past the Schönen-Aussicht-Hütte, on which sheep are driven from Schnalstal to Ötztal at the beginning of June , only to return the same way in mid-September.
Increase opportunities
The usual ascent leads from the south of Kurzras in Schnalstal on a wide, marked path to the hut in about two hours. When using the Schnalstaler Gletscherbahn , the hut can be reached from the mountain station on the Grawand in an hour.
The hut can be reached from Vent in around five hours from the north . This also marked ascent leads past the Hochjochhospiz , a refuge in the rear Rofental. From the Hochjochhospiz, the path leads down to the bridge over the Hintereisbach , which comes down from the Hintereisferner. Now up through the Hochjochferner valley to the Hochjoch, always west of the stream fed by the Hochjochferner.
Tour possibilities
The usual summit tours from the hut are as follows:
- Weißkugel ( 3739 m )
- Inner spring peak ( 3516 m )
- Fineilspitze ( 3516 m )
- Ice in the rear ( 3270 m )
Crossings are possible to the Hochjoch Hospice , the Similaunhütte and the Martin-Busch-Hütte .
