It is made up of widely scattered hamlets between the arms of the Pruszowka ( Pruskauer Wasser, later Preußenbach) . In addition to Siedliska, these are Sośnia (also Susznia, German Sosnie; later Trockenau), Rosocha (German Rossocha; later Rosenhof), Łąki (Wiesen), and Piłat (German Pi (o) lot , later Waldweiler) and, on pre-war maps, Schedlitz (later Nordhof) .

history

View of Frei Pipa from the north

The village was originally a colony of Pruskau and was referred to as Pipa or in the mortgage book exclusively as Siedlisk . As Frei-Pipa it became an independent municipality. In his description of Silesia from 1845, Johann Georg Knie describes the village as a “free village” with its own school under the patrimonial court of the Fideikommiss Zembowitz. The Catholic settlement was parish in Zembowitz and schooled in Frei Kadlub. In 1865 Frei Pipa comprised 19 private houses and five agricultural buildings.

In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 22 votes were cast in Frei Pipa in favor of remaining with Germany, and 29 votes for joining Poland. With the Rosenberg constituency, which had voted for Germany in majority, Frei Pipa remained in the Weimar Republic .

From 1816 to 1945 free Pipa was part of the district Rosenberg OS in District Zębowice. In the course of the National Socialist renaming of the site, Frei Pipa was renamed Freihäuser on April 27, 1936 . On April 1, 1939, the community of Freihäuser was incorporated into Freihöfen, as was Preußenau (Pruskau) .

After the occupation by the Red Army in 1945, Frei Pipa was placed under Polish administration, which introduced the name Siedliska . Since 2008 the place has also had the official German place name Schiedlisk.

Both entries contain contradicting information about 45 residents in 7 houses and 58 residents in 5 houses. In the edition of the book from 1830 there is also "Pipa, Kol. Zu Pruskau [...] belonging."
