action

Schimanski has decided to marry his girlfriend Marie-Claire , but during the ceremony, the cell phone of best man Hänschen rings , who promptly sets out on a murder case. Schimanski dupes Marie-Claire and follows Hänschen to help him solve the case. It's about the underage stepdaughter of his ex-colleague Keller, who was found dead in a trailer at the campsite. She apparently became a victim of child prostitution as her corpse shows evidence of repeated sexual intercourse .

But what annoys Schimanski the most is that the young prostitute Niki informed the young prostitute Niki the day before that the young prostitute informed him that they were hungry and hungry, but did not intervene. Schimanski and Hunger catch Niki and bring her to Schimanski's apartment. While Hunger seems to be getting closer to Niki personally, Schimanski is kept on a long leash by Marie-Claire, who has hidden in the rented bridal suite. While Hunger is working on files, Niki takes Schimanski home with her, where she introduces her daughter to him. Then she nests in his apartment with the child. When Schimanski shows her the crime scene photos, she mentions that the victim had previously told her that he wanted to meet a Belgian . But Niki's pimp, Sinna, catches her and her child on a parking deck in front of Schimanski's apartment and quartered them in his brothel . At the same time, Schimanski tries to find out more about another child at the Seelenriß children's home who, like the victim, was abused in a trailer. However, the leader is stubborn. Little does Schimanski suspect that Keller is following him every step of the way in order to find his daughter's murderer himself.

When Niki tells Sinna about a Belgian he is looking for, he gives Schimanski a tip about Niki. This Belgian Schimanski narrowly escaped at a campsite at night, but he can be found on the license plate of his getaway vehicle. To everyone's surprise, the Belgian is an acquaintance of Marie-Claire, Daniel Laroc, so that Schimanski also drives jealousy in search of him. When he tracks down Laroc through another clue in a dump, there is a clash between him, Laroc and Keller. Suddenly it turns out, however, that Laroc is only an apparent suitor, who anonymously as a customer for the organization Seelenriß rescues children from their situation and brings them to the home there. In the meantime, Hunger has been beaten to hospital by Sinna's thug after he interfered in an argument between Keller and Niki. On a phantom image created with the help of a girl rescued by Laroc, Hunger identifies Niki's pimp, Sinna, who escapes during a raid.

Niki's child is suddenly kidnapped in the supermarket. Sinna gives her a phone call from the train station where she can find her child again before he is caught by Hunger and his people. Schimanski, however, chases Sinna away from him at the police station after learning of the kidnapping in order to force him to testify where he sent Niki. Meanwhile, Keller intercepts Niki with a gun and brings her to an abandoned Bundeswehr area with several caravans. On the drive she realizes that Keller himself has pedophile tendencies and forced his daughter into prostitution . However, he did not commit the murder. He had only tried to treat his problem in this way. A few minutes later, Schimanski also reaches the premises and is asked by Keller to hand him over Sinna. Afraid of Keller, he admits to Schimanski that he killed the girl. He was forced by Keller to prostitute children and wanted to blow him up by the death of the girl in order to break away from him. When Keller loses patience and threatens to kill Schimanski, he is ambushed by hunger at the last moment. In the end, Schimanski tries again to give Marie-Claire the yes-word at the registry office when a cell phone rings again.

background

The topic of child prostitution was already the basis for action in the Schimanski crime scene Kinderlieb from 1991.

Senior Public Prosecutor Schäfer no longer plays a role from this episode. Instead, Hunger and Hänschen are colleagues at the Duisburg criminal investigation department. The offices are no longer located in a modern high-rise, but are again located in old-fashioned offices like in the old Schimanski crime scene episodes.

Johan Leysen also played the coroner Dr. in the Schimanski episode Muttertag. Gordon.
