Schlewecke is a district of the town of Bockenem in Lower Saxony . On October 1, 2011, the village had 535 inhabitants. It is three kilometers north of Bockenem and 2.5 km from the east-running A 7 . The Beffer flows into the Nette to the southwest of Schlewecke .

history

On March 1, 1974 Schlewecke, which belonged to the Gandersheim district , was incorporated into the town of Bockenem.

The ship of the Protestant Marienkirche was renewed in the years 1822 and 1838 according to the inscription. The rectangular west tower, which has an octagonal helmet , essentially dates from the Middle Ages .
