The Swiss University for Speech Therapy Rorschach (SHLR) in Rorschach / Canton St. Gallen is a university of applied sciences for the training and further education of speech therapists .

The SHLR has been accredited by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Education Directors (EDK) since 2008 and has the status of a university of education . The SHLR cooperates with the St. Gallen University of Education and is a member of the International Lake Constance University (IBH) .

With the speech therapy course, the university offers a bachelor's degree with specializations in speech therapy , medical, psychological, pedagogical, linguistic, communicative and curative education subjects. In addition to various advanced training courses, the certificate courses CAS Promotion of Children with Language Disorders in Groups , CAS Voice and Speech Training and CAS Language Acquisition Disorders are offered in toddlers and preschoolers .

The university is supported by the Swiss Speech Therapy Association (SAL).
