The Idar-Oberstein-Hillschied transmitter is a transmitter for VHF radio in Idar-Oberstein . It is located on the grounds of the Baumholder military training area south of Idar-Oberstein. An approx. 67 m high supported tubular steel construction (tripod) made of "Corten steel" serves as the antenna carrier.
