The Schardenberg transmitter is a transmission system from Österreichischen Rundfunksender GmbH , which is located on the Fronberg in the municipality of Schardenberg near the town of Schärding in Upper Austria .
From here, parts of the Schärding district along the Inn and Danube rivers are supplied that cannot be reached by the surrounding basic network transmitters. The programs broadcast from here can also be received in neighboring regions of Germany, especially in Passau .

The frequency of Kronehit is sent from the Fronberg observation tower (Schärding 2).
Specialty
The 92.5 MHz frequency, coordinated by the location, is also operated with the OE1 program by the Patscherkofel transmitter and can be received easily in many parts of Bavaria.

Until the switch to DVB-T2, ORF 1, ORF 2 (Upper Austria and Lower Austria) and ATV broadcast in DVB-T on ORS-Bouquet A Upper Austria.
