Senyera is a Spanish municipality in the province of Valencia , in the comarca of Ribera Alta . It borders on the municipalities of Manuel, Pobla Llarga, Sant Joan de l'Ènova and Castelló de la Ribera, which belong to the same Comerca.

Geographical location

The municipality is located on the right bank of the Albaida River . A system of ditches distributes river water for irrigation.

economy

Mainly agriculture is practiced, namely the cultivation of orange trees, vegetables and corn. Irrigation of the cultivated areas is necessary throughout. The main source of income is the export of oranges. Cattle breeding is only practiced to a lesser extent (mostly family businesses). The demand for industry, trade and services is mainly covered by the neighboring Castelló de la Ribera.
