Sergi Darder Moll (born December 22, 1993 in Artà ) is a Spanish football player . The central midfielder is under contract with Espanyol Barcelona .

Career

society

Darder played in his youth for the CD Manacor and then went to Espanyol Barcelona . In the 2011/12 season he played for the club's B team before moving to Malaga FC . There Darder first played for a year for the B selection and was then pulled up to the first team for the 2013/14 season . On August 17, 2013, he made his debut in the 1-0 defeat at Valencia CF in the Primera División . He scored his first goal on March 31, 2014 at Betis Sevilla to make it 2-1 in the 88th minute.

For the 2015/16 season , Darder moved to Olympique Lyon in the French Ligue 1 for twelve million euros . At the end of August 2017, he was loaned to his former club Espanyol Barcelona until the end of the season and then firmly committed again by them.

National team

Darder took part in the U17 European Championship in Liechtenstein with the Spanish U17 national team in May 2010 . There he was used in four games and failed with the team in the final to England . In 2011 he played twice for the U18 team . On November 14, 2013 Darder made his debut in the 6-1 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina for the U21 national team .
