Víctor Gómez Perea (born April 1, 2000 in Olesa de Montserrat ) is a Spanish football player who is under contract with the second division club Espanyol Barcelona . The right -back is former Spanish U -Nationalspieler.
Career
society
Víctor Gómez started playing football at EF EFO 87 in his hometown of Olesa de Montserrat , Barcelona . Soon he joined the youth academy Espanyol Barcelona and in 2010 switched to that of the city rivals FC Barcelona . After five years in La Masia , he returned to Espanyol's offspring.
In March 2017, he was only 16 years in the reserve team of Periquitos promoted and gave on 25 March (31 Matchday) at 0: 2 home loss to the reserve of Villarreal his debut in the third Spanish top flight as he, the 73rd minute of the game for Carles Soria was substituted on. In the remaining season he played three more league games. Espanyol had to move into the fourth-class Tercera División and in the next season 2017/18 he established himself as a regular player. He also started the following season 2019/20 in the B-team until he moved up to the first team of head coach David Gallego in early October 2019 . After this, after a weak start to the season by Pablo Machín was replaced, Gómez was under this (9th Round) on 20 October at the 0: 1 home defeat by Villarreal be Laliga debut. In autumn he took part with the U17s in the 2017 U17 World Cup in India , where he was substituted on in a game. Spain lost to England in the final.
In June 2018, Gómez played two friendly international matches for the U18s .
In October 2018 he made his debut in the U19 . He was in the squad of the Spanish selection for the 2019 European Under-19 Championship in Armenia . There he was used in four games, including the 2-0 final win over Portugal .
