Serkan Mustafa Yapıcılar (born August 11, 1986 in Ankara ) is a former Turkish ice hockey player who was under contract for most of his career at Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK and was Turkish champions with the club in 2007 .

Career

Serkan Yapıcılar began his career as a hockey player at İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK , for whose first team he made his debut in the Turkish Super League in the 2002/03 season . In 2006, the goalkeeper moved to Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK , with whom he became Turkish champions in 2007 . In the 2008/09 season he ran for the Başkent Yıldızları SK . He then returned to Kocaeli, where he ended his career in 2010 at the age of just 24.

International

For Turkey, Yapıcılar took part in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 and the U20 World Championships in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 and 2006 in Division III.

In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division III in 2003 , 2004 , 2006 , 2008 and 2009 and in the World Championships in Division II in 2005 , 2007 and 2010 .
